“saxxxrum (ft. Patrick Shiroishi)”

Following “dB.XYZ,” the second single from Rococo ∞ Echomatter features Patrick Shiroishi in one of the album’s most dense and high-pressure tracks. Kikù’s beat and synth structures Merzbow’s noise as Shiroishi’s saxophone moves freely across the sonic field.

Framing his approach as “match their intensity” in a “Brötzmann way,” while seeking to “play like myself” and “offer the horn…to add to the music,” Shiroishi’s recording became the structural source for “saxxxrum.”

“saxxxrum (ft. Patrick Shiroishi)”

Following “dB.XYZ,” the second single from Rococo ∞ Echomatter features Patrick Shiroishi in one of the album’s most dense and high-pressure tracks. Kikù’s beat and synth form a structure around Merzbow’s noise as Shiroishi’s saxophone moves freely across the sonic field.

Framing his approach as “match their intensity” in a “Brötzmann way,” while seeking to “play like myself” and “offer the horn…to add to the music,” Shiroishi’s recording became the basis for “saxxxrum.”
